Our mission is are to train mass communication professionals who are mindful of their ethical responsibilities and the developmental challenges of developing countries, and to produce professionals who are able to creatively harness contemporary information technology devices to facilitate national and international development.

PROGRAMME PHILOSOPHY

Communication is vital to national development.  The Mass Communication programme aims to produce professionals who would employ practical communication and media skills for personal, corporate and national development.  In practice, our graduates would make a difference by upholding high ethical and moral standards that would be model for present and future communication practitioners.

Mass Communication in Babcock University is a programme that allows each student adequate exposure to writing and print journalism skills. In addition, they are given the opportunity for in-depth orientation in elective options in Broadcast, Advertising and Public Relations.
