The School of Public and Allied Health is borne from the preferred preventive health care model of Primary Health Care (PHC) which acknowledges that efforts to improve health must go beyond the treatment of diseases and must address all conditions affecting the health of populations including human behaviour, socio-economic conditions, and environmental impacts on human health.
