Gate to orientation in 6 steps

Pick your campus and follow the flow. Registry, BUTH and Student Development will be on ground for verification, psychosocial tests and hall allocation.

Head to your allocated room.

Medical and psychosocial tests, disability support, spiritual care, and biometrics for Worship Centre allocation.

University Stadium

Verify credentials (JAMB letter, fee evidence) and capture biometrics for your Smart ID card.

General Orientation

Held at the Amphitheatre. Welcome to the family.

Law & Security Studies gate

Enter through the LSS gate, Iperu.

Canopy 1, Open Field

Report here on arrival.

Before you travel

Don't leave home without these

Only students with proof of fee payment are allowed on campus.

Fee receipt

Present your student receipt at your hall before room allocation.

Printed JAMB letter

Print your admission letter before you arrive.

Hostel details

Surname, programme, school, your and your parent's phone numbers, and hall of choice.

Get registered

From admission to "registered student"

Have your department's course list handy. Get your username and password from your School Officer.

Phase 1

Accept & pay

  1. From the Congratulatory Message window, click Next
  2. Upload your JAMB admission letter
  3. Pay your acceptance fee, then download your receipt
  4. Click "make additional payment" for the balance of fees
  5. Complete your acceptance form
Phase 2

Select courses

  1. Log in at umis.babcock.edu.ng and change your password
  2. Open Course Selection → Register for semester
  3. Choose meal option, hall (or Off Campus) and Worship Centre
  4. Select your courses by code, title, unit and class option

Phase 3

Finance & submit

  1. Check Current Charges, then request financial approval
  2. Pay via Payzeep/Flutterwave (add ₦500 for the minimum balance)
  3. Wait until "Close finance" reads Yes
  4. Submit registration and print your course form
Ignore the lecturer's name when choosing courses. It can change. Focus on the right class option. You're not registered until you submit and get your course form.
Documents

Your registration checklist

  • WAEC/NECO/GCE result or equivalent (clear, legible copy)
  • Original and duplicate JAMB Admission Letter and Result Slip
  • National Population Commission Birth Certificate
  • Or a Court Affidavit for Declaration of Age as proof of age

Get these right or you can't register

  • Names spelled and ordered the same (Surname, First, Middle) on your NIN, WAEC/NECO result, JAMB letter and birth certificate
  • Date of birth identical on every document
  • Foreign results (e.g. IGCSE) must be evaluated by the Federal Ministry of Education first

Required for all 100 and 200 Level direct entry students, including psychosocial screening.

Free Tdap

Optional Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis vaccine at no cost to every new student.

₦11,125

Optional HPV vaccine for female students, at parents'/guardians' discretion. Per dose, 3 doses needed.
