British Council Delegation Visits Babcock University

A three-man delegation from the British Council Nigeria, led by Mr. Alexander Ofuyah, Head of Operations, recently visited Babcock University to explore potential partnership opportunities. The delegation included Mr. Olajide Falope, Business Development Manager, and Udochi Ahuche, Accounts Relationship Manager,  British Council Nigeria.

During the visit, Mr. Ofuyah highlighted the British Council's 80-year presence in Nigeria, emphasizing their commitment to partnering with institutions globally. He expressed interest in collaborating with Babcock University, leveraging specialists to deliver learning, build capacity, and provide training for schools.

Mr. Falope outlined the benefits of partnership, including:

1. Teacher Training: Enhancing educators' skills through specialized programs

2. English Language Proficiency: Improving students' language skills

3. Global Assessment Tests: Comprehensive assessments for students

4. Cambridge Exams: A-level exams for international recognition.

President/Vice Chancellor Prof Ademola Tayo said the University has existing partnerships with other global institutions and looks forward to potential partnerships that can benefit Babcock students and faculty.
