Babcock University embarked on a journey of introspection and renewal during its annual colloquium, held from January 10th to 13th, 2024. With the theme "I Will Go: Reflecting on Our Walk and Work in 2023," the entire university family, from faculty and staff to administration, came together to engage in meaningful discussions and chart a course for the future.

Intimate sessions touched upon various aspects of "our walk," including:

  • Reflecting on Our Walk in Families: Marriage and family life took center stage, fostering critical dialogues and insights.
  • University Ranking: A dedicated session delved into the university's position and strategies for continued ascent in the academic landscape.
  • Grant Management System and Opportunities: Unveiling the new system and exploring funding avenues fueled the spirit of research and innovation.
  • Time with the University Principal Officers: Direct engagement with leadership provided a platform for open communication and collaborative vision-building.

The colloquium served as a powerful catalyst for introspection, learning, and growth. It was a space for sharing successes and challenges, reaffirming core values, and collectively plotting pathways for future achievements. As aptly captured by the theme, "I Will Go," the spirit of the gathering resonated with a renewed commitment to walk together, united in purpose and driven by a shared vision for excellence.

Babcock University, poised for a future propelled by introspection and collaborative spirit, continues its journey on the path of academic excellence and impact.
