A company LockBook LTD, co-founded by three Babcock University alumni and a final year student of the University got into a Nigeria Student Venture Price (NSVP) competition and came second while representing Babcock University. They won a grant price and a big cheque of #1,000,000 (one million Naira) as well as a postgraduate scholarship. The competition started with about 10,000 contestants and their work made it to the grande finale among other outstanding NIgeria University students, with their innovative business ideas.
