Babcock University is proud to contribute to the development of Nigeria's healthcare workforce by providing facilities for the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) licensure examinations.
The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) conducts its licensure examinations four times a year.
- March and September: Midwifery licensing exams
- May and November: Registered nurse and post-basic nursing exams (Public Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Preoperative Nursing, Orthopedic Nursing, etc.)
During each examination period:
- Tuesday and Wednesday: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Thursday: Oral examination for most programs. For post-basic programs, Paper 3 and Oral exams may be conducted on this day.
- Friday: Practical examinations for various programs.
Babcock University has played a significant role in NMCN examinations by providing facilities for both CBT and oral exams. Nursing schools in the Ogun State region utilize these facilities for their NMCN exams
