Registration for BIC (Babcock Innovation Challenge) 7.0 is officially open.
At Babcock University, entrepreneurship is part of preparing students to think beyond employment and towards value creation, innovation and problem-solving.
BIC 7.0 gives student teams a platform to test that thinking.
Participants will work in teams of 3–5 members, with every team member required to be a registered Babcock University Student Entrepreneurship Club (BUSEC) member.
The challenge unfolds in three stages:
STAGE 01 — APPLICATION Submit your idea.
STAGE 02 — SEMI-FINALS 10 teams advance.
STAGE 03 — GRAND FINALE 5 teams proceed to the final stage.
The journey is designed to push students beyond having an idea to thinking about the problem it solves, the value it creates and the people it can serve.
That matters in a world where innovation is increasingly tied to employment, enterprise development, technology and sustainable solutions.
A student who learns to turn an identified need into a viable solution is developing more than entrepreneurial skills. They are developing the capacity to contribute to decent work and economic growth, innovation and resilient communities.
This is the kind of entrepreneurial and globally relevant thinking Babcock continues to cultivate.
