Technology cuts across every department and everyone must be IT savvy with the way the world is evolving. Fifty persons comprising students and alumni have secured full scholarship for IT and entrepreneurial training under a partnership deal between Babcock University and 5GO Academy limited, UK.
50 winners were selected from 724 people who registered having been screened properly. The program is expected to run online during weekends and would be coordinated by the Director of Research, innovation and international cooperation, Professor Grace Tayo, Dr Ebiesuwa and four others.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Ademola Tayo, urged the winners not to take the opportunity for granted as others are willing to grab what they have as the scholarship is within the context of high demand on IT skills.
